1. Once I heard about the fashion statment going around I decided to bring my cat, Chuchee, to Petsmart to get him one. Only because he often goes outside and recently him and his friends switch places and he ends up staying at other peoples' houses. We normally trust our neighbors and offering Chuchee to come inside, but it still worries me. So like I said before, I had heard about these collars and went to check it out. There was a fancy display case full of the fasionable collars. So I went over to one of the workers and told them about Chuchee and his "habit". They told me that NY's newest pet creation is very popular, and it's just as safe as saftly collars. I didn't really think that a leathery/cottony material was safe, but then they showed me how it worked. They slipped the collar around Chuchee's neck, and made it comfortable for him to walk in it. Then the worker showed me how easily the collar slips off when he's being pulled by it, with little to some force. It made me feel safe about him wearing it, just in case his collar got stuck in between a tree branch or something. After hearing a little bit more about it, it seemed perfect. So I bought it, and then got him 2 brand new tags to go on it. Then when I got home I put his rabies tag on. And let him outside. It was perfect, it didn't weigh him down or anything. The best part is, the tags on it jingle a bit, which is good becuase he's a hunter and it scares away the birds. ( No more snakes on my front steps ) This collar definatly is something, for cats and small dogs. You should try it.
