Young Jax was put to sleep last night ... I feel so sad for his people. What an awful decision to have to make.
They're going to be getting another pup in late September, but Jax was truly one of a kind. I adored that little guy ...

2. My heart truely goes out to Jax'sfamily.No one can take his place or the love he has given you. I had to do that to my 17 yr. and my 12 yr. oid cocker spaniel. It has been a few years now and I still feel bad and miss them. My family and I are now looking for another pet.We will keep Jax and you in our prayers.

7. I've only have critters since 1993 and four of them had to be "put to sleep". Mystic the black cat threw a bloodclot and was in horrible pain. My heart broke when he had to be put to sleep. Rascal the cocker spaniel had many health problems and finally couldn't walk. Angel the beautiful all white kitty had feline leukemia when I got her. We kept her healthy as long as we could, but the FL made her extremely anemic and she could no longer function. My heart broke that day. Chance the cocker spaniel had to be put to sleep earlier this year. He had bone cancer and was in a lot of pain.

1. I can well sympathize. Last week, I had to say goodbye to my 17 yr old Black Lab Brutis. It was his time.I hed him until everything was done. It tkes awhile to get over things like this, as they are your family. Their love is ALWAYS unconditional. You can spend hours going over crazy antics that your kid has done. I always referred to Brutis as my kid, & I know I can't be the only one who has done this. just love them as long as you can. What it means to you & to them cannot be put into words. He was always my Baby Boy. He always acted like he was still a puppy.
He always will be.
