I got some pug love over the weekend:
Once my new client Tito realized that I had treats with me, he did lots of this:

That intense gaze. Very serious. Very determined. And very successful in getting me to empty my pockets for him.
Lola was fairly green when it comes to training, so we worked on polite leash walking, basic recalls, and curbing her "bossy big sister" attitude. (It's Lola's world and Tito is just livin' in it.)
If you read The 'Bub regularly you know that I'm a sucker for brachycephalic breeds, but not everybody agrees. Some people even think -- horrors! -- that they're homely. Let's hear from all of you squish-face fans out there! What is it about those funny little faces -- pugs, Bostons, boxers, Frenchies -- that makes us love them so much?

1. because no one else will love them....
