CatwomanCatera, who rescued and adopted the Miracle Puppy Pei Pei, has once again answered the call of an animal in need.
She had already adopted calico kitten Jelly (pictured at right), when she learned that Jelly's brother Ziggy Stardust was also in need of rescue -- he was unwanted and being left outdoors to fend for himself. She took him in with the intention of finding him a loving home, but she was too smitten to let him go. Here's Ziggy stretching out in "his" new chair:
With six cats and one dog in what she refers to as her "zoo," CatwomanCatera is a very busy lady, always making sure that these formerly neglected and abandoned animals receive the best of care. It's always gratifying to hear about animal lovers who are as committed to helping pets as she is.

1. Yes, my dear friend Jennifer has rescued and adopted many cats and a couple doggies. She has found homes for many --- and I have been a recipient of her rescuing cats three times with Mystic, the black short-haired guy who she found at a consignment shop, Lotus Blossom, the "cow spotted" girl who ran away from home, and my Angel, the white medium-haired girl I will never forget, a garage-sale prize.
